May 18: Day 1, The day before the conference:

On May 18th, the afternoon before the conference, participants will be welcomed and introduced to each other as well as to the faculty. After the get-to-know-each-other the participants will be trained on how to do rapporteuring and reporting to prepare for the tasks during the conference. The evening with informal dinner will give participants the opportunity to do networking and discuss the coming days on a more personal basis.

May 19 – 20: Days 2-3, conference:

During the conference, participants will be Junior Rapporteurs on sessions. Together with the respective session chair and a Senior Rapporteur they will be responsible for reports on the sessions. Therefore, they will take notes and summarize the key messages coming out of the sessions. A special focus will be given to the policy relevance of what has been presented in the sessions. A working space will be provided for the task forces (consisting of the Session Chair, the Junior and Senior Rapporteurs) to fine-tune their reports at the conference venue. It is planned, that these short reports will be published in an Open Access Journal (for details please see section on Outputs).
