Within the conference on “Water-Energy-Food-Security: New directions for water management”, 1-4 May, 2012 in Winnipeg, Canada, GWSPs GCI Initiative held a workshop on the water-energy-food nexus. GWSP GCI has undertaken a survey of major river basins to explore the dimensions of this issue.
