This electronic book contains the major contributions to the international conference ‘Global Dimensions of Change in River Basins. Threats, Links and Adaptation’ organised by the Global Catchment Initiative (GCI) of GWSP in Bonn, Germany in December 2010.
Addressing especially graduate students and young professionals in the field of freshwater research, the book is meant as an introduction to the issues, debates and contributions of the conference.
It is structured into three sections:
- Global Change and River Basins;
- Accounting for Water and River Basins; and
- Governance and River Basins.
The book is devised as a free publication in digital form to achieve maximum outreach and accessibility.
